Sacramento State Aquatic Center Affiliates & Memberships

General Affiliation

Entitles members access to the weight room and locker room facilities. Affiliates also enjoy reduced rates for rentals and classes.

Paddling Club

Entitles members to use specified Aquatic Center paddle craft and facilities. If you are a beginning/novice paddler you must complete one of the basic classes or complete a private lesson prior to having access to the surf skis and touring kayaks. If you have previous paddling experience you must be checked-out by one of the AC paddling staff prior to using the surf skis and touring kayaks. The club equipment available includes: Single Sit on Top Kayaks, Tandem Kayaks, Yak Kayaks, Canoes, Rowing Ergometers, and access to the weight room and locker room.

Sailing Club

Entitles members to use specified Aquatic Center sailing equipment and facilities. If you are a beginning/novice sailor you must complete one of the basic sailing classes or complete a private lesson prior to joining the club. If you have previous sailing experience you must be checked-out by one of the AC sailing staff prior to joining the club. The club equipment available includes: Lasers, Holders, Dewitts, Windsurfers, Keelboats, Catamaran, Rowing Ergometers, and access to the weight room and locker room.

Rowing Club

Entitles members to use specified Aquatic Center rowing equipment and facilities. Membership is available for rowers at any experience level. If you are a beginning/novice rower you must complete one of the basic rowing classes or complete a private lesson prior to joining the club. If you have previous rowing experience you must be checked-out by one of the AC rowing staff prior to joining the club.

The club equipment available includes eight (8+), four (4+), two (2-12x), and one (open water 1x's) person shells, Rowing Ergometers, and access to the weight room and locker room. NEW! Sac State Aquatic Center Green & Gold Membership

Do you enjoy paddling? Sailing? And rowing? With the Aquatic Center Green & Gold Membership you can become an affiliate of the Aquatic Center and enjoy all three sports as much as you want, all year long!

The Green & Gold Membership entitles members to use specified Aquatic Center paddle craft, sailing and rowing equipment. If you are a beginner/novice sailor, rower or paddler, you must complete one of the basic classes or a private lesson to have access to specialized equipment (surf ski, touring kayaks, lasers, holders, windsurfers, keelboats, catamaran and prindell, and all rowing shells). If you have previous paddling, sailing or rowing experience, and feel confident enough to pass a brief written and practical exam, you may get checked out to use Aquatic Center specialized equipment by scheduling a 1-hr or more private lesson (some people may require more than 1 hour to get checked out--this will be decided by the instructor) for each craft you wish to have access to. With this membership you will have access to Aquatic Center weight room, locker room and rowing ergometers.
