Friday Night Sailing Program

The Sac StateFriday night Sailing program is designed to give sailors experience on the water. The program will focus on sailing Lasers and Holder 14s and is open to sailors, who have passed an Aquatic Center sailing class or camp. The program will sail on Fridays and will learn boating safety, boat handling, rigging, docking, and advanced sailing skills. Boats and instruction will be provided by the Aquatic Center.

 

The cost is $15.00 per night

Participants should be dressed to get wet and wear suitable water shoes.

Flip flop sandals are not recommended.

Time: 5:00 to 7:30 pm.

 The dates are:

Friday June 11

Friday July 9

Friday August 13

Friday September 10

We will provide lifejackets, Laser and Holder 14 sailboats, instruction, and a barbeque.

Our emphasis will be: safety, building sailing skills, and above all, having fun!
