Private Lessons
The Aquatic Center offers private lessons in Kayaking, Windsurfing, Sailing, Rowing, Canoeing, Water Skiing, Wake Boarding and Jet Skiing. Private lessons are designed for individuals, or groups of up to four people, who prefer one-on-one instruction or who are not able to attend a scheduled class. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for any private lesson. Private lessons are offered on an appointment only basis and a request form must be submitted.

What if I have experience?
For those with prior experience that wish to rent our equipment without enrolling in a class, a minimum of a one (1) hour private lesson is required in order to get "checked out" for use of the following equipment:
- Holder 14*
- Laser*
- Holder 20 Keelboat*
- Prindle 16 Catamaran*
- Slalom Kayak
- Surf Ski
- Windsurfer
- Rowing Wherry
The user will be acquainted with the vessel, equipment, location, care, and safe use. The number of hours of boating instruction will depend on the individual's skill in using the desired equipment. The user must pass a mandatory swim test and written exam in order to rent equipment.
*May require 2 hour minimum
A private lesson request form must be completed and submitted prior to a lesson being scheduled.
