Basic Rowing Class (Sculling)

Teaches safety, boat control, proper care of equipment, and correct rowing technique.

Students will row in team rowing shells and learn the fundamental aspects of sweep rowing.

AC Masters Program

This program is geared strictly towards competitive rowing. Workouts will focus on technique, strength and conditioning, cardiovascular training, diet and nutrition, flexibility, psychology of sports, and racing.

Summer Development Junior Rowing Camp

Offers an in-depth technical evaluation of the row stroke; individual video taping analysis; guest coached and lecture sessions in nutrition, rigging, physiology and sport psychology.

Paddle Camp

Spend a week learning to kayak and canoe on the Lower American River and Olympic Rowing on Lake Natoma. Spend a day on an outrigger canoe trip and whitewater raft trip on the Upper American River.

W.E.T. Water Enrichment Training (Team Building)

This fun three-hour team building activity can be used for corporate training days, school field trips, youth groups, family reunions or competitive teams.

Rowing Club

Joining entitles members to use specified Aquatic Center rowing equipment and facilities.

Private Lessons
|
|
Private lessons are designed for individuals, or groups of up to four people, who prefer one-on-one instruction or who are not able to attend a scheduled class.

Don't have equipment? Don't worry, the Aquatic Center offers a wide variety of equipment from canoes to hydro bikes.
